A church wedding at St Helen's in Ashby-de-la-Zouch followed by a reception at the Pumping Station in Cropston. The images below are roughly 20% of the images the couple received.
Katie & Harry met at school. You know on the last day before you break up forever, where kids write on each other's shirts? Well, Harry scrawled that he was Katie's 'future husband' and here they are, many years later... turns out Harry called it.
We met Katie at her Mum's and were made to feel right at home. The tea flowed, everyone helped everyone, it was ace. It was also a bit of a mini reunion for Sarah as she photographed Katie's big sister's wedding 8 (?) years prior. We caught up with Harry just before he left for the church. Here's a little bit of their morning...
Steve (Katie's dad) bought a car on the day Katie was born. I think he might have mentioned that he took her home from the hospital in it, or I might have imagined that bit. Anyway, today, she was chauffeured to the church in it...
The rest of us walked to St Helen's...
Mr & Mrs...
And then there was something to eat and some speeches...
The Pumping House is a gorgeous spot for balmy sunsets so we took a quick stroll around the building before heading back inside for cake and other stuff...
